I'm stumped We switched to the Hopper 3 system a year ago and since then our Samsung 4K TV which has a Joey connected to it constantly power cycles after the Joey comes out of sleep mode. If my understanding is correct, I should let all the audio come from the amplifier to my 5:1 speakers (2 rear surround, 2 front, one central and a sub woofer) obviously, all components should be connect to the HDMI inputs on the amplifier, and the HDMI output should go to the TV. Discussion in ' Hopper System Support Forum ' started by winklle. My Sony TV is HD and it has only one HDMI input, and I have HD DishNetwork box and a BluRay player coming. The amplifier is an STR-DA5300ES with six HDMI inputs and one output. I own a home theater system and it is always a problem for me to figure the best way to connect my components to the amplifier.
